At 83, Razia Samad Dahlia has dedicated decades to healthcare, education and social welfare in Sherpur. Known as 'Dahlia Khalamoni,' she founded the Sherpur Diabetic Centre in 1997, later expanding it into a hospital, supported vulnerable students, aided abused women and abandoned children, and financed projects from personal resources. In 2026 she received Unsung Women Nation Builders recognition.
