Anganwadi workers across Punjab have joined the Bhagwant Mann government's Yudh Nashean Virudh initiative as Nasha Mukti Mitras, building a grassroots network to prevent drug abuse by sensitising families, connecting users to de-addiction services, and promoting sports and community activities. A state event in Malout, Sri Muktsar Sahib, highlighted felicitation of 20 workers, distribution of sports kits, and expansion of prevention infrastructure.
