Union minister Piyush Goyal said India will gain a strong comparative advantage from the pending US trade deal, adding no farmers’ interests will be compromised and sensitive sectors will be protected. Speaking at the ISID-IDRA conference, he noted negotiations also cover investments and services and dismissed politicised criticism of the agreement.
