Bihar has opened dedicated Child Help Desks across all 1,338 police stations, creating a more child-friendly space for minors seeking help. The desks will handle concerns involving abuse, trafficking and neglect, with trained personnel providing support and coordinating with child-protection units. The initiative also includes women police personnel for girls’ complaints, aiming to make police support easier and safer for children.
