North Korea criticised the United States for arms sales and military support to Taiwan, blaming Washington for escalating tensions in the Taiwan Strait as new F-16V jets arrived. Separately, Kim Jong Un pledged continued support for Russia and expansion of their strategic partnership in a message to Vladimir Putin, endorsing Russia’s campaign and deepening bilateral defence ties.
