The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has extended real-time coach occupancy displays to the Pink Line, enabling commuters to view C1 to C6 crowding percentages on platform screens before trains arrive. Using load sensors to compare coach weights, the system estimates passenger occupancy and helps riders choose less crowded coaches, reducing peak-hour congestion and improving travel comfort.
