Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced a Rs 15 lakh rehabilitation package per family for tribal households relocating from Nilgarh to Naya Nilgarh to protect forests and wildlife. The package includes Rs 5 lakh for housing and five acres of agricultural land. Chouhan also launched the nationwide Khet Bachao Abhiyan from Taraori in Karnal district, Haryana.
