In Kathmandu, the Living Goddess Kumari visited Taleju Bhawani Temple at Hanumandhoka for a Tantric and Vedic ritual intended to confer divine strength and blessings. Escorted in a ceremonial chariot, Kumari participated in rites held in Mul Chowk after the temple’s idol was brought there. The ceremony reflects Kathmandu Valley’s longstanding Kumari and Taleju traditions.
