Mufasa: The Lion King, a prequel to The Lion King, had an impressive opening at the Indian box office, earning Rs 10 crore on day one. The Hindi version, voiced by Shah Rukh Khan, led the collections with Rs 3 crore, followed by the Telugu version with Mahesh Babu’s voice at Rs 2 crore. According to Sacnilk, the English version earned Rs 4 crore, and the Tamil version Rs 1 crore. Globally, the film is expected to earn $180 million in its first weekend.
