The India Skills Report 2026 ranks Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka as the most employable states, with Kerala and Delhi completing the top five. National employability rose to 56.35 percent from 54.81 percent in 2025, based on over 100,000 Global Employability Test candidates and industry inputs. The report highlights growing demand for AI, digital skills, gig work and technology-oriented graduates.
