An 'army' of women in the Sundarbans, many widowed by tiger attacks, plant mangrove saplings along riverbanks to protect villages from cyclones and conserve the fragile ecosystem. Formed after cyclone Aila in 2009, the volunteer group now includes about 600 women and has planted over 1.3 million saplings across several remote islands.
