Grand immersion processions in Bhubaneswar drew thousands of devotees as city bid emotional farewell to Goddess Durga, with four major Bhasani committees organising processions across Janpath, Nayapalli, Chandrasekharpur and Old Town. Decorated tableaux, music and dance accompanied idols, while 48 police platoons managed traffic. Idols were immersed in five temporary ponds near the Kuakhai and Daya rivers.
