Andhra-born Dipika Damerla, running for Mississauga mayor in Canada, used a Bollywood-style video to appeal to voters by singing a modified version of "Kya Hua Tera Wada" and promising not to raise property taxes. She shared the clip on X. Damerla is a former MPP and Ontario minister, a long-time Mississauga councillor and holds an MBA from Rotman.
