The agreement on the Kishau Multi-Purpose Project is a significant achievement for Haryana, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said. After years of delay, the project advanced through dialogue, cooperation and consensus, with thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and CR Patil. Combined with Renuka Ji and Lakhwar projects, the three schemes will boost Haryana's water share to about 1,143 MCM and add 2,676 cusecs.
