Amid viral videos allegedly filmed inside Kedarnath’s sanctum, the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee has launched an inquiry and is reviewing existing rules. Alongside identifying those responsible, officials are considering lockers where pilgrims can safely deposit phones before entering. The move aims to make it easier for devotees to follow photography restrictions while preserving the shrine’s religious sanctity and peaceful darshan experience.
