Delhi Police detained nearly 7,000 protesters across the capital as Jantar Mantar was sealed and heavily barricaded, with around 15,000 police and 25,000 paramilitary deployed. Most detainees were later released except CJP leaders. Authorities invoked Section 163 BNSS, closed metro access, suspended services, and held many at Chhatrasal Stadium; over 600 preventive detentions and several journalists were also detained.
