The FlyDubai co-pilot accused of attacking his captain allegedly told UAE interrogators that he had planned the assault before joining the airline and chose FlyDubai after looking for carriers operating flights to Tel Aviv, according to sources cited by Reuters. Investigators are also examining whether he had considered a similar attack on an earlier Tel Aviv flight.
