Indonesia is investigating an alleged wildlife killing after a suspected Bornean orangutan skull was recovered on Oct. 8 in a high conservation value forest inside a PT Kayung Agro Lestari oil palm concession in Ketapang regency, West Kalimantan. Fires earlier in the plantation displaced orangutans; authorities are verifying species, cause and timing while coordinating with the company.
