Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said India is targeting $1 trillion in exports this year despite global trade growth projections of just 1.9%. Speaking at the Invest Telangana Global Summit curtain raiser in New Delhi, he cited nine recent free trade agreements, preferential access to 38 developed nations, and Telangana’s aim to become a $3 trillion economy by 2047.
