India aims to secure at least 10 percent of global 6G patents and increase participation in international standardisation before the process concludes in late 2028. Nokia's India head Vibha Mehra urged industry, academia and companies to contribute technically, noting contributions differ from patents, while highlighting Nokia's Bengaluru 6G lab, 5G rollout and local manufacturing incentives.
