India's defense forces are enhancing their warfare readiness by expanding space-based assets and strengthening key agencies. The Department of Military Affairs recently presented plans to senior officials, including service chiefs, ISRO, and DRDO representatives. The strategy aims to increase space assets and the ground infrastructure to support them. This aligns with the government's approval of a space-based surveillance project, which will launch 52 satellites for surveillance, communication, and strategic purposes, with collaboration between government and private sectors.
