Indian startup QNu Labs, with BISAG-N and IIT Gandhinagar, demonstrated a 5.56 km free-space quantum key distribution link on Sept 27, 28, establishing a secure channel with quantum bit error rate under 5% and key rates of 230, 260 bps. Keys were integrated into BISAG-N's Vedic Kavach for end-to-end encryption, advancing quantum-resilient communication and satellite-ready networks.
