During External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar's visit to Abidjan, India and Côte d'Ivoire agreed to strengthen cooperation in defence and anti-terrorism through training, capacity building and institutional exchanges. Jaishankar met Vice Prime Minister and Defence Minister Tene Birahima Ouattara and held talks on trade, infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare, multilateral engagement, and people-to-people ties as part of his Africa tour.
