Aleema Khan, sister of jailed former prime minister Imran Khan, was arrested at her Lahore home ahead of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s planned September 27 protest, PTI Punjab said. Reuters confirmed the detention. Authorities also detained several PTI activists in Islamabad. Imran Khan has been imprisoned for over three years; family members have raised health concerns and alleged a conspiracy involving military chief Asim Munir.
