Buffalo Sabres legend Ryan Miller explained why he wore a Colorado Avalanche alumni jersey during the Aug. 23 alumni game at Magness Arena against DU Hockey: a Michigan State teammate invited him, and he joked 'I can be bought.' Miller, who never played for Colorado, spent 18 NHL seasons with Buffalo, Anaheim, Vancouver and St. Louis. Avalanche GM Joe Sakic remains confident about re-signing Cale Makar.
