Reform UK has promised to raise the UK tax-free personal allowance to £15,000 if Nigel Farage becomes prime minister, with Robert Jenrick pledging to enact the change within his first 100 days as chancellor. The allowance has been frozen at £12,570 since 2021 and is due to remain until 2031, a freeze critics say has pushed millions into paying tax and affected pensions.
