Horiba India has opened its first Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine (H2-ICE) Test Bed Facility in Chakan, Pune, with an investment of ₹28-30 crores. The facility, which focuses on testing hydrogen-powered engines for commercial vehicles, aligns with India's green energy goals. It features advanced technologies like hydrogen gas analyzers and engine dynamometers. Horiba aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 42% by 2033 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. The facility also supports India's Make-in-India and Atmanirbhar Bharat missions.
