The Cheenapara Heritage Gallery at Huining Huiguan in Kolkata showcases photographs, artefacts and registers documenting the city's Chinese community from Tiretta Bazaar. Curated with community donations and archival research led by Prof. Tansen Sen, the project traces migration, trades like shoemaking and dentistry, temple histories, and Huiguans' social roles, preserving a dwindling community's cultural legacy.
