Gujarat has compulsorily retired IAS officers K Rajesh and Gaurav Dahiya following a review of their service records under the state’s reported ‘Operation Gangajal’. Rajesh had faced CBI and ED proceedings over alleged corruption and money laundering, while Dahiya had faced disciplinary inquiries over alleged misconduct. Both retirements took effect on October 1, following approval under All India Services rules.
