India, aiming to eliminate tuberculosis, will launch a 100-day campaign across 347 high-priority districts in 33 states and union territories. The campaign, starting Saturday in Panchkula, Haryana, by Union Health Minister JP Nadda, aims to improve TB case detection, reduce delays, and enhance treatment outcomes, especially in high-risk groups. The Health Ministry dismissed reports of anti-TB drug shortages, ensuring sufficient stock across all levels. The campaign focuses on community awareness, screenings, and better diagnostic tools for timely detection and treatment.
