Bombay High Court’s Goa bench has questioned the Election Commission over the deletion of six family members from Goa’s electoral rolls during SIR. The family had submitted Form 8 after shifting homes within the same constituency, but their records were reportedly missing from the ERONET system. The court questioned whether software could override legal procedure and asked why existing voters were directed to file Form 6.
