Survey findings from a Harris Poll show Generation Z adults are likelier than older Americans to identify as religious and to engage in a wide range of spiritual practices. Among 2,136 U.S. adults surveyed July 1 to 4, Gen Z reported higher rates of scripture reading and religious service attendance, with 88% practicing at least one spiritual activity compared with lower shares in older generations.
