A vacant ShopRite in Fair Lawn will be renovated into a BAPS Hindu temple after zoning approved plans to relocate the Clifton congregation. The group bought the property for $14 million and will convert the grocery into a mandir, while the strip mall and Walgreens will be refurbished. Proposed facilities include prayer hall, assembly space, gym, playground and parking.
