At the 47th Asian Conference on Remote Sensing in New Delhi on October 16, 2026, two Indonesian researchers received Indroyono Soesilo Awards. Yustinus Seno won for annual forest ecosystem mapping using Landsat data and machine learning; Serliah Nur earned honorable mention for mapping language vitality in Tana Luwu, South Sulawesi. Other winners were from Japan and India.
