From Dry Desert to Dreamy Flowerland - Atacama Is Blooming!

The Atacama Desert in Chile, one of the driest places on Earth, has transformed into a stunning floral landscape after unusually heavy rainfall linked to El Niño. More than 200 plant species can emerge from seeds and bulbs that remain dormant underground. CONAF expects the “flowering desert” to reach its peak in October, with around 15,000 hectares potentially covered in blooms.
