Abhishek Anand’s journey to Japan’s national cricket team began with a college placement opportunity at Accenture Japan. Although he had not planned to move abroad, he accepted the offer and continued pursuing cricket alongside his career. After joining the Tokyo Falcons Cricket Club and playing for three years, his performances were recognised by the Japan Cricket Association, which selected him for the national team in 2025.
