Kolkata-born entrepreneur Navkaran Singh Bagga leads Akvo Atmospheric Water Systems, which produces drinking water from atmospheric moisture for locations lacking reliable infrastructure. Over eight years Akvo has deployed generators at more than 2,000 sites across 15 countries, producing about 300,000 litres daily and over 100 million litres total without groundwater extraction. Bagga cautions the technology suits specific climates and requires testing, energy and maintenance considerations.
