The government authorised a temporary internet suspension within a 4-kilometer radius of the Janpath-Kartavya Path crossing ahead of planned anti-CEC protests. Delhi Police said preventive security measures were necessary for demonstrations called by groups including the Congress-led INDIA bloc and Cockroach Janta Party. Services will be suspended from 10 PM October 9 until 10 PM October 10, affecting mobile internet.
