A seven-member Indonesian delegation has proposed visiting Nandankanan Zoological Park in Odisha to assess the health and welfare of five infant orangutans rescued from Bichitrapur forest in Balasore on September 8. India agreed in principle. The visit aims to verify species and origin, review care arrangements, and involve veterinarians and specialists amid an ongoing trafficking investigation.
