Aasima Jan, a 42-year-old government teacher from north Kashmir, conducts menstrual health and hygiene sessions in remote tribal villages, persuading families to re-enrol dropouts. She visits Gurez, Uri and nomadic Gujjar-Bakerwal communities on Sundays, buys sanitary pads with her own funds, and uses social media to promote awareness, reducing stigma and improving girls' attendance.
