American economist Jeffrey Sachs stated in Varanasi that India has entered a major fast growth era and its share of global output will continue rising for decades. He noted that if sound principles like education, infrastructure, and climate safety are followed, India will become the world's largest economy due to its massive population, playing a huge and positive role in global affairs.
