Researchers in Finland found early-onset Alzheimer’s disease (before 65) presents different patterns than late-onset, with increased depression, dizziness, headaches, traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, strokes, thyroid and alcohol-related disorders, tinnitus and hearing loss appearing years before diagnosis. Traditional cardiovascular risk factors were not more common, while healthcare use rose sharply five years prior.
