Indian Railways has cancelled several trains arriving at New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin on October 10 ahead of the CJP protest at Jantar Mantar, citing expected traffic congestion. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke hit back on social media, accusing the government of making an “Emergency” official and mocking the restrictions as metro, rail and internet shutdowns. He questioned the need for such sweeping measures ahead of a protest.
