Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu laid the foundation stone for the Punjab Heritage Home in Lajpat Nagar, built by the International Punjabi Society. Dignitaries included MP Bansuri Swaraj, MLA Neeraj Basoya, councillor Sharad Kapoor, former MP Tarlochan Singh and society president Anil Kohli. Sandhu praised Punjabi contributions to Delhi’s culture, economy and vowed the centre will honor traditions.
