The Election Commission of India (ECI) will announce the Delhi Assembly election schedule on Tuesday at 2 pm. The term of the 70-member assembly ends on February 23. After the announcement, the Model Code of Conduct will take effect. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) aims for a third consecutive win, having dominated the 2015 and 2020 polls. The BJP and Congress will challenge the AAP separately, despite their joint contest in Delhi’s 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Voting and counting dates will also be revealed.
