Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav released two cheetahs, Vyom and Neera, into Veerangana Durgavati Tiger Reserve, marking Bundelkhand's first reintroduction after about 150 years. VDTR becomes Madhya Pradesh's third cheetah habitat after Kuno and Gandhi Sagar. The state plans further releases, community-linked conservation, tourism development, and livelihood support; two more cheetahs arrive next month.
