Chhattisgarh’s Cabinet has approved the revised Guest Lecturer Policy-2026, introducing clearer merit, experience and re-engagement provisions. Domicile candidates get preference in case of equal merit, while teaching experience at state universities now counts toward experience marks. Former guest lecturers can also apply for vacant posts. The Cabinet also approved recruitment rules for implementing 10% reservation for former Agniveers in Class III state posts.
