Uttarakhand’s Char Dham Yatra has drawn a record 5,323,401 pilgrims this season, driven by unprecedented visits to Badrinath (1,810,000), Gangotri (841,000), Kedarnath (1,557,000) and Yamunotri (750,000). Hemkund Sahib also surpassed 352,765 visitors. The state government has enhanced monitoring, disaster-management readiness, and logistical arrangements across Rudraprayag, Chamoli and Uttarkashi to ensure devotees’ safety as the season continues.
