Bihar Health Minister Nishant Kumar, son of former chief minister Nitish Kumar, attended the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi, welcomed by Ganga Seva Nidhi. The aarti was held at the organisation's office due to rising water levels. Namami Gange and Varanasi Municipal Corporation are conducting intensified cleanliness drives on ghats, removing silt, puja materials and over a tonne of waste.
