Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has directed officials to fast-track two greenfield airports at Ajgaibinath Dham and Sonepur, with a combined first-phase investment of Rs10,000 crore under a PPP model. The state will fund land acquisition and external connectivity, while plans include long-runway designs, cargo facilities, and enhanced passenger amenities to boost air connectivity, tourism, trade, and regional economic development.
